Banyoles Lake, a Natural Park or a Funny place?

Some years ago, people could do more things than now in Banyloes lake. They could do water skiing and boat races. It was funny, but it caused important dameges to the lake. Nowadays, it's forbidden to do that kind of things, and if you do it, you're going to be fined.

Now, Banyoles is once of the most peaceful towns in Catalunya and the reason is because people are not doing things that can damage the lake. The lake is getting well and some ancient animals like otters have returned to the lake because the water is good for them.

On the other hand these activities were fantastic and they helped to improve the economy of Banyoles; many tourists came here because of that.

All in all, I think that we have to continue with that police, the like is much better without us!

Grandma’s anecdote

Every year, I go to Tarragona some weeks, where my grandmother and my uncle and aunt live. I stay there for a week and I have a lot of fun because I go to a lot of places like Port Aventura. When I was young, my grandma used to tell me stories and anecdotes of her childhood before I went to sleep.

The funniest of them was a story that happened to my grandma and her best friend.

Years ago, they used to play games like hide and seek because there wasn’t much technology and children played other games. That day, they played hide and seek and  her friend hid in the W.C. She sat on the toilet seat, when my grand found her. She had a surprise and lost one of her shoes into the toilet. But at that time toilets weren’t like nowadays, they were like a very big hole where you can imagine what people threw in.

She cried a lot because they were very expensive shoes and they couldn’t found them.
